Daniel Mananta (born August 14, 1981 in Jakarta, Indonesia) is a Indonesian television host, VJ and actor. Sometimes known as VJ Daniel, is an Indonesian entertainer whose name emerged after winning the 2003 MTV Indonesia VJ Hunt. The first of two children of Donny Mananta and Anawaty Angkasa has now established himself as an entertainer as well as a young entrepreneur. He speaks fluent English. Daniel Mananta has 1 brother called 'William Mananta'. Mananta also starred in many Indonesian soap opera including I Love U Boss. He played a major role in Indonesian thriller movie, "Rumah Dara" (2010). ==Early life== Daniel led an amiable childhood in Jakarta, Indonesia. He attended Tarakanita IV in Pluit, North Jakarta, from kindergarten to the end of junior high school. Daniel relocated to Perth, Australia to complete his high school education at Aquinas College.
